Cross the border into Germany and discover Meissen, Saxony’s historic city of porcelain. Visit Albrechtsburg Castle and Meissen Cathedral, both overlooking the Elbe Valley. Stroll through the medieval Old Town, market square and charming cobblestone lanes while learning about Meissen’s fascinating history and world-famous porcelain craftsmanship. A visit to the House of Meissen may also be arranged according to your interests. Continue to the Baroque Schloss Wackerbarth Winery, where you can enjoy views of the vineyards and landscaped gardens. Join an official winery tour to discover the distinctive character of Saxony’s cool-climate wines and taste three selected wines. Non-alcoholic alternatives are available for guests who do not drink alcohol. The winery tour lasts approximately one hour and requires advance reservation. Regular public tours are currently conducted in German. The full-day tour lasts approximately 10 hours and includes a private vehicle, driver and Mandarin-speaking guide. Meals, attraction admission fees and winery tour fees are not included. The visiting order may be adjusted according to traffic conditions, attraction opening hours and winery reservation availability.
